B&G chartplotter camera compatibility
The BoatEye360 night vision camera is the most compatible camera for B&G chartplotters. As far as we know, it's the only marine camera on the market with both HDMI (1080p digital) and analog RCA outputs in one camera, so it connects to every B&G Zeus SRX, Zeus SR, Zeus3S, Zeus3, Zeus2 and Zeus Touch display, and to Zeus S displays through an HDMI-to-IP encoder. Both the BoatEye360 C-1080 V1 and V2 have the same analog and HDMI digital outputs, so they have the same compatibility.
B&G Vulcan chartplotters have no video input, so they can't show a camera. Find your B&G model below to see which cable to use.

- AnalogZeus3S, Zeus3, Zeus2 and Zeus Touch: add the Navico video cable 000-00129-001 (sold separately). The camera's RCA plug goes straight into it, no adapter needed.
- IPZeus S and Zeus S Ultrawide: plug the HDMI cable into an HDMI-to-IP encoder box (sold separately) and connect it to the display's network port.
- No videoVulcan: these can't show a camera. Use our V2 monitor instead.

Does the BoatEye360 camera work with B&G chartplotters?
Yes, on every B&G Zeus display on this page. Every BoatEye360 camera has both an HDMI output (digital 1080p) and an RCA analog output, so you connect whichever one your B&G display accepts. Both the C-1080 V1 and V2 have the same outputs, so they work the same way.
Which B&G chartplotters have an HDMI input?
The Zeus SRX 16 and 22, Zeus SR 10, 12 and 16, and the Zeus3S and Zeus3 Glass Helm 16, 19 and 24. Plug the camera's HDMI cable into the video input for a full 1080p picture. On the Zeus3S 16 and Zeus3 12 and 16, the HDMI port is output only, so use the analog connection.
Which B&G models use the analog camera output?
Zeus3S 9, 12 and 16, Zeus3 7, 9, 12 and 16, Zeus2 7, 9 and 12, and Zeus Touch T7, T8 and T12. They need the Navico video cable (part 000-00129-001 on Zeus3S, Zeus3 and Zeus Touch), sold separately. The camera's RCA plug goes straight into it. Glass Helm displays have BNC video inputs, so use the RCA-to-BNC adapter that comes in the box.
How do I connect the camera to a B&G Zeus S?
The Zeus S and Zeus S Ultrawide have no video input, but they can show network (IP) cameras. Plug the camera's HDMI cable into an HDMI-to-IP encoder box (sold separately) and connect the encoder to the display's network port, then add it as an IP camera on the display. The same works on Zeus SR and Zeus SRX if you want the camera on several screens.
Can I see the camera on another B&G display on my boat?
A camera plugged straight into a display shows only on that display. B&G's manuals for the Zeus3S, Zeus3, Zeus2, Zeus Touch and Glass Helm say so. To see the camera on more than one screen, use an HDMI-to-IP encoder box: the camera then becomes a network camera that any Zeus S, Zeus SR or Zeus SRX on the same network can show. The Zeus SRX takes up to four IP cameras.
What if my B&G model has no video input?
B&G Vulcan chartplotters, including Vulcan Radar and Vulcan FS models, can't show a camera. Pair your BoatEye360 camera with our V2 10-inch marine monitor instead. It has HDMI and two RCA inputs.
Install tips
- Zeus S, Zeus SR, Zeus SRX and Zeus3S are different units with different inputs. Check the model name on the back of the display.
- The Navico video cable plugs into the port labelled VIDEO and has two RCA inputs, so you can add a second camera later.
- Glass Helm displays have BNC video inputs. Use the RCA-to-BNC adapter that comes with your camera, or use HDMI IN for the best picture.
- For Zeus S, pick an HDMI-to-IP encoder that streams standard H.264 video (ONVIF), and power it before you add it on the display.
