👉 Good News: Each camera now includes both HDMI (1080P) and RCA (720p) outputs. Simply choose the one that fits your setup—HDMI gives the best image quality.
The Boateye360 Full-Color Night Vision Camera helps boaters see clearly at night, just like in the daytime. Using an advanced CMOS sensor, it captures full-color images even in extremely dark conditions. This gives you a clear, bright view of what’s ahead — from crab traps and buoys to bridges, kayakers, and other boats — helping you stay safe and confident on the water.
1080p HDMI Output – Setting the Standard
Boateye360 was the first in the industry to introduce true 1080p HDMI output for marine night vision cameras. Others may offer it now, but we set the benchmark for high resolution, full-color video quality on modern chartplotters and displays. Default resolution is set at 720p (Analog RCA) and 1080p (HDMI) - 30fps, with options available for resolutions up to 4K at 60 frames per second (fps),
Dual Output Included – No Extra Cost
Every Boateye360 camera comes standard with both HDMI (1080p) and analog RCA (720p) outputs. Unlike others who charge more for higher resolution, we provide both options at the same price — giving you flexibility and value in one package.
Built to Outlast Your Boat
Our cameras are built from marine-grade stainless steel 316L, not plastic. The housing is corrosion-resistant and designed for long-term exposure to saltwater and harsh weather. We even use titanium screws for superior strength and durability.
Simple, Flexible Mounting
Install the camera on top or upside down — no software changes required. Just flip the bracket, and you’re ready to go. The design works perfectly on T-tops, dashes, and bow mounts for any vessel setup.
Optional External Screen
For boaters who prefer a separate viewing monitor, Boateye360 offers an external waterproof screen. It’s a perfect option if you don’t want to use your chartplotter for video display.
Exceptional Low-Light Performance
Unlike traditional monochrome night vision cameras. Our advanced CMOS sensor captures full-color images even in near-total darkness. Whether it’s under starlight, moonlight, or dim dock lighting, you’ll get vivid, day-like visuals that enhance navigation and safety.
Wide Compatibility
Boateye360 cameras integrate smoothly with leading chartplotters, including:
Garmin: 1243 (RCA), 8600 Series (HDMI)
Simrad: Evo3 (RCA), Evo3S 16"+ (HDMI)
Plus many other popular systems with RCA or HDMI input.
Compatibility: Click here to verify compatibility with your chart plotter.
Camera runs on standard 12-volt power at 2 amps, you can wire it directly navigation lights or existing switches.
Best Value in the Industry
Despite its premium materials, dual output, and unmatched performance, Boateye360 remains the most affordable full-color night vision camera available — delivering professional-grade quality without the high-end price tag.

Customers can choose between RCA (CVBS) or HDMI based on their setup and display preferences. RCA (CVBS) is ideal for connecting to most chartplotters and marine displays that support analog video input. If using RCA, make sure to set the chartplotter to PAL format for the best image quality. HDMI is the better option for those who want higher resolution and sharper image quality, perfect for connecting to an external monitor or a modern MFD with HDMI input. Choose the option that best fits your boat’s setup and viewing needs!
Yes, the Boateye360 camera excels in identifying crab traps, buoys, and other hazards, providing full-color images even in near-total darkness. However, traveling at higher speeds may affect your ability to see and react to these objects in time. We always recommend navigating at slower speeds during nighttime for optimal safety.
The default frame rate for our camera is 30 fps (recommended). A 60 fps option is available.
Yes, all necessary cables are included with your purchase. The standard cable length provided is 33 feet (10 meters). If you need longer cables, they are available for purchase separately.
Yes, the HDMI version includes an HDMI cable with a length of 16.4 feet (5 meters) and a power cable that is 33 feet (10 meters).
You will need standard marine-grade stainless steel screws or bolts, size M5. These are not included with the camera, so please prepare accordingly for installation.
The camera is rated IP68 to IP69, making it highly resistant to water ingress. It is not designed for underwater operation and should not be submerged.
Yes, the pelican-style case that comes with our camera is waterproof and can be used for storing important documents and other safety devices.
All our models are designed for permanent installation on vessels, but they can be easily modified to be portable. Reach out to us to learn more about these modifications.
To reduce noise when using analog video, ensure all connections are secure and use shielded cables. Try to ground both the camera and chartplotter/monitor at the same location. Additionally, avoid routing cables near radar, radio, and other high-interference devices to minimize disruption.
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. You can return the camera within this period for a full refund.

This is just perfect easy installation and great picture I’m so glad I got it
Let me start by saying I don’t usually write reviews for products I’ve purchased, (I was not paid or given a discount to write this), but in this case, I’m thrilled to make an exception. A few months ago, I purchased the BoatEye360, a decision driven by a memorable evening on the water. My friends and I were out for dinner and didn’t make it back to the launch before nightfall. We live in the Gulf Shores, Alabama area, where we spend a tremendous amount of time on the water, both in the Gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway. I’m completely comfortable navigating at night, having been around the water my entire life. However, this particular evening was challenging. The moon was nowhere to be seen, and the darkness was intense. The waterway was busy with many other boats, making navigation tricky. I managed to get back to the launch using all available navigation aids, including the “Trails” function on my chartplotter. But the waterway piling markers didn’t align perfectly with the map, and they seemed to fly by even at slow speeds. Combine that with the number of other boaters out there, and it was a stressful experience. That night, I decided I needed some form of night vision to avoid this kind of stress in the future. After researching my options, I found that FLIR was out of my budget, and there weren’t many alternatives to choose from. While price wasn’t my only consideration, reliability, ease of installation, compatibility with my chartplotter, and reviews from other users were critical factors in my decision. After thorough research, the BoatEye360 stood out as the top choice. I visited their website around 1:30 a.m. and was surprised when a chat window popped up asking if I had any questions. Expecting a bot, I typed in my queries and was shocked to receive a response from a real person—Dhruvil! He spent time answering my questions and providing detailed information. The next day, I placed my order based on our conversation. The product arrived a few days lat
When I first connected this camera to my Simrad system, it didn’t work as expected. I reached out to BoatEye, and their support (spoke with the actual owner of the company) quickly helped me resolve the issue by guiding me to switch to the "camera two" option. They also assisted in getting the correct cable for my setup. I had a few questions about the night vision quality, and they were responsive and informative. While it doesn’t match the performance of thermal cameras due to its need for some ambient light, it still delivers impressive results—especially considering the price point. I’m really glad I went with this camera. It’s fun to show off to my friends, and it’s been a solid addition to my gear.
So far, I'm happy with this. It's the end of our season, so I really haven't had a chance to get offshore on a dark night. It has performed well inshore using the various light sources in our bay. The image on the screen is a bit grainier than I thought but still superior to what I've seen on thermal cameras. Not sure if there are settings that I need to adjust in the monitor or not. I'll likely do more playing around with it in the weeks to come.
I am speechless. The quality of this camera is unbelievable. The customer service is what you expect. Just excellent immediate respond wouldn’t great awesome product we do a lot of early morning Fishing and this is a saver. Thank you for such an awesome and affordable product.
Set it up straight out of the box, all is working now just have to fit it on the boat
This far exceeded my expectations, and I'm hard to please. The product was easy to install, and the clarity is considerably better that I expected. It's clear, fast and color. This is by far one of best purchases I've made for our boat. If you are on the fence, it's worth it.
My last boat had Black Oak (Pursuit 325 OS) hooked up by RCA and my new boat (Pursuit 355 OS) has the Boat Eye 360 hooked up HDMI. I love them both but I think the Boat Eye gets the nod with the full color. When my anchor pulled at 2:30am in a rocky channel in the Abacos 3 weeks ago, I was very grateful for a clear picture of where the rocks were and where I was. Both good products!
This is an amazing product, Dhru! The image quality was incredible—like being in broad daylight. It completely exceeded my expectations in brightness and clarity. Highly recommended!
44° FOV to infinity — it captures a wide angle and stays in focus all the way out. Hope it helps.
It depends on several factors — like the size of the object, your boat’s speed, and how much ambient light is available from stars, the moon, or nearby light pollution. As a reference, we were able to spot a container ship from 12 miles away..
Our camera has a 44-degree field of view, which offers a great balance of clarity and coverage for nighttime boating. Spotting crab traps depends on a few things like how fast you're going, whether there’s moonlight or starlight, and how far away they are. In our testing, we’ve been able to see crab traps most of the time, but like with any tool, it’s important to stay alert and pay attention while navigating.
That depends on specific model. Some Hummingbirds have HDMI input. Please email us or call us directly to verify compatibility. Thanks
